What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Stomach?

I am having bad stomach problems and my heart dr won t approve me getting of my effient. This has been going o for 5 months at least. I do not work, have no income to pay for an answer. I have too many aches and pains to go to work and at a stand still of what I can do.I m living with my daughter who doesn t have any way to help me. I just need to know if there is anything otc that can give me some relief.I figure it s IBS but again, I don t have the money to keep trying any medicines. Can you please help me?

Hi,

You are having stomach pain since 5 month. So it can be chronic gastritis like condition. If gastritis not present then function bowel problem could be possible. I suggest you investigate with urea breath test to rule out H. pylori gastritis.

Endoscopy also should be done if any underlying cause present. If all these comes normal then function bowel problem is diagnosis and VSL-3 probiotic tablet can be prescribed.
