What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Upper Abdomen On The Left Side?

Hi Doc.. My question is that I am recently experiencing some pain and discomfort on my left side upper abdomen and especially underneath the rip cage. I feel sharp pain and crushing while I am sitting on the floor. I am also experiencing that I spit more often with a white and sticky saliva, while I feet irritation from my throat and keep trying to clear my throat while coughing.

itcanbe gastritis or gall bladder calculi it requeres further investigation and consultation with doctor ultrasound gall bladder and endoscopy after consultation with gastroenterologist. take bland diet and start tab omiprazol and unienzyme get checked of throat by ent specialist. after proper diagnosis treatment can be recomanded.
