What Causes Pain And Discomfort In Throat Along With Mild Chest Pain?
Hello, this feels ridiculous but last sunday the 11th I sneezed and felt something in my thoracic spine/ribs go , it is still feeling quite odd, like it needs to be clicked back into place but none of my movements (side rotation, flex/ext, side flex) have been painful. The strange feeling has not subsided and I now have a slight chest pain. Just wondering what I might have done? Have I possibly just pulled a muscle? Thanks!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain and discomfort in throat along with mild chest pain . The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to cervical spondylosis , TMJ problem or angina. But there can be other reasons also like acid reflux or chest infection.
I would suggest you to to consult gastronterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ambulatory acidity test , endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe H 2 blockers or proton pump inhibitor . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist or chest specialist for chest infection .
For now avoid spicy food specially at night , do warm saline gargles and take steam twice a day .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
