What Causes Pain And Erectile Dysfunction After Penis Injury?

I had penile trauma during sex in february. I slipped out of the girl and hit her which caused some pain. I didnt get any swelling or bruising just some pain. I did lose my erection and could nit get one for a couple days. After that my erections were normal but still felt some pain on the right side of my penile shaft. I decided to let it heal on its own but the pain persisted and i noticed a tenderness to my testicles and i was peeing more frequently. Sometimes the peeing would burn. I went to my primary doctor around april and he thought it was just a bruise. I saw a urologist a couple months ago and he didnt think it was penile fracture and said to give it time. Now almost 6 months later since the injury, just this past week i have erectile dysfunction. I feel pain throughout the day like a mild pain. Im still peeing a little more than usual. Whenever i did get an erection it was straight not bent. Im scheduled to get a doppler ultrasound in a couple of days. Im just wondering if any of you would kniw what it could be. Its really been scaring me that i may have permanent damage down there. And i know shouldve gotten this handled earlier.

Hello,

It may be due to nerve injury. For that you may require MRI after urologist consultation. You may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
