What Causes Pain And Inflammation In The Middle Finger?

Hi I hit my middle finger of my left hand on the kitchen sink last july, I hit it very very hard . it was very painful. It still pain slightly, but the skin over it just above my nail burns a lot really a lot. the skin also looks as if I have burnt my skin(slightly reddish-black), but this burning sensation is bad. What can I do to treat it? Thank you Farah

Hi, this burning sensation after injury could be due to CRPS or the digital nerve damage sign in the original trauma.
Good hand therapy is a solution
you will also need an X Ray to see the condition of your phalynx.
