What Causes Pain And Itching After Being Bitten By A Bee?
I were stung yesterday by a bee I put alcohol in it and it swell really big and it hurts and itch but their is no stinger in it I bought some witch hazel today to put on it can should I continue to use that and will it help should I keep it covered up
It looks like an allergic reaction leading to swelling and itching..
The toxic chemical present in bee sting causes allergic reaction.
It is a common finding after a bee bite so you need not to worry as it will get better soon..
For now you can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl to reduce the allergic reaction.. Apply Caladryl lotion over it.. You can also apply antiseptic ointment over it to avoid any sprouting of infection.. Do cool compresses over it to reduce inflammation..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
