What Causes Pain And Itching Around The Foreskin Of The Penis?

Hello! Just curious; I have had irritation and what appears as small ulceration around the foreskin of my penis for several weeks. It is sometimes painful and itches. I have tried several types of creams and jock-itch medication. Nothing works. I shower twice daily, apply powers, and I have not been sexually active for some time. Is this something I would need a prescription for to clear up?

I really appreciate your concern, two possibilities are there one is fungal infection and second it could be due to formation of smegma (Kind of white material ) near the glans, for the fungal infection Miconazole cream can be used and for smegma formation you need to see the urosurgeon hope this information helps.
