General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

By the period of 11 weeks, there must be precise healing of the operative part of knee post meniscus tear. There can be possible ligament sprain or others which can pause a sudden swelling around your knee with dull ache.

My guidelines at present:
- Keep the affected leg elevated over a height of 3 pillows
- Local application of ice 5 minutes each 4 times a day
- Intake of ibuprofen with antacid after meals

Consult your doctor as per your recovery and requirement.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
