What Causes Pain And Lumpy Feeling In The Vagina After The Periods?

Hi, I have been feeling uncomfortable during sex for the past week like my bf penis was rubbing against something, I thought my vaginal wall was sort from wearing tampons and my period was very light, I just felt around and where the pain happens, it feels lumpy, more than one lump, what could this be?
