Hello,

There in no evidence of nerve impingement from the MRI. Pain and numbness in the leg commonly occurs due to developing peripheral neuropathy. You have not mentioned if you are diabetic or not. If diabetic, control your blood glucose level normal at all cost or it will complicate to diabetic neuropathy.

Medical conditions like sciatica, slip disc, disc herniation or problems in the spine may also cause similar symptoms. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist, get CBC, urinalysis, blood glucose, NCV test, nerve biopsy, all required blood work, X- ray / MRI of spin done so that the pathology can be detected and treatment started at the earliest.

In the meantime, take food rich in vitamin B6, B12 or take supplements to boost nerve health. Get treated any underlying health condition that may be causing such symptoms. You may be referred to an orthopedist / GP for further management. You will be treated with physical therapy, NSAIDS, hot and cold therapy, spinal injections and electrical nerve stimulation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
