What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Arms And Face?

My husband has been told he has lots of neck / back trauma by a chiropractor and has been a team roper his whole life. He had a small 3 minutes spell where his face has gone numb along wth pain and numbness down his arm in arm he past couple days. He also has had a headache for a few days but that may be sinus problems. We are going to urgent care in the morning. Do you think it may be a pinched nerve? Is it better to put heat or cold on his neck and take tylonoyl?
