What Causes Pain And Pinching Sensation In Upper Arm?

My left upper arm became suddenly painful & kept me up most of the night even the slightest touch & it hurts like someone is constantly punching my arm it s almost like the bone hurts as far as I know I haven t injured myself or bumped into anything any clue as to what is causing my pain?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain and pinching sensation in upper arm . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like pinched nerve , compressed nerve , cervical spondolysis or carpal tunnel syndrome . I would suggest you to do light stretching exercises under expert , apply warm compresses to neck and arm twice a day and consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray , CT scan and do physical examination by checking movement . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory and supplement like neurobion forte .
