What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Groin Area During Menopause?

I am a 55 year old woman , going through the menopause . Suffer from a pressing uncomfortable sensation in my groin . Offensive smelling urine on times , even though I drink excessive amounts of water . Have been told I have a slight prolapse , it s the offensive smelling urine that concerns me , as I do not eat spicy food or drink tea or coffee. I have cravings for sweet treats , the urine is not sweet smelling , therefore thinking , not diabetes , I do however drink lots of water , but always have done . Feels almost like a phantom period , which I have not had for some years now .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having chronic urinary tract infection producing this problem.
This UTI can be due to bladder prolapse you might be having.
Due to prolapse there might be having some amount of urine remains in the bladder producing infection and foul smell.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
Ok and take care.
