What Causes Pain And Pressure In Vagina After Sex?
I am 24, im 5"2 and my weight is 147lbs......my boyfriend and I had sex last night and it was very painful, the swelling went down but it came back again when we had sex again today and now there is alot of pressure (like something has been ruptured in my vagina) on my vagina, what do i do, I am in alot of pain?
Hello, Thanks for letting us know your health concern. The possible cause for the painful intercourse are- 1. rough intercourse, 2. lack of proper lubrication, 3. cysts in the vagina or polyps of the cervix etc. Rupture can lead to pain and bleeding. Since you mentioned that the swelling disappeared and reappeared , labial swelling also should be considered. I would ask you to report to your health care provider immediately for further management. A proper local examination is to be done to exclude any trauma, infection and swellings. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
