What Causes Pain And Pressure In Vagina During Pregnancy?

hi I m 39 wks and 3 days my cervix is soft but my baby is not engage but I my vagina hurt especially in the night when i lay down n sleep its hard for me 2 get up becuase this feeling is too wierd with pressure seem to applied to it could it mean my baby is making it way down there?

Descent of the head into the pelvis can certainly can feel that way, and even though you are uncomfortable it may mean that your body is getting ready for labor! A pelvic exam from your OB provider can confirm this. Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs as it may help with the discomfort. Good luck!
