Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My five year-old grandchild was complaining earlier this afternoon about pain under her fifth right toe, but when examined it appeared normal. She cried and hopped around. At bedtime, she complained of more pain on other toes and now she appears to have redness on the pad of each toe. The redness on the big toe is little more than a dot of 1.5 mm diameter. This started shortly after she had been swimming in an indoor pool, about 5 hours ago. She does not have any other symptoms and has not been sick. She cannot walk on any of them and is crying. Any ideas?
