What Causes Pain And Restricted Movements In Arm After An Injury?

I fell with all of my weight on my shoulder, and this mornig i could barely move it. I took ibuprofen and it helped. Thepain level is high and it hurt to move my arm. I was going to give it a few days to see if it was just brused, and if not better go to the doctor is this the right thing to do?
