What Causes Pain And Rushing Sound In Left Side Of Ear And Neck?
Hi Selina here on my left side from my shoulder to the top of my neck is always in pain , from my ear running down my neck I always have a rushing sound , it feels numb swollen feeling, I do get headaches and ringing in my head. But it s all in my left side I have no pain feeling to my right . It feels like my glands at the top of my neck under chin from left to right are swollen . My tongue is always whiteish in faury at the back of my tonque had larger than normal raized bumps, It keeps me awake at night the pain on my left side. When I turn over the sound of rushing up my left side shoulder neck I have had this for about 5 years I be been to the doctors had a neck X-ray which come up with normal age of the neck and that s it s. it s driving me crazy

Hearing rushing sound and ringing sounds in the ear is suggestive of some ear related disease.
Diseases of inner ear like infection, raised pressure, growths can cause ringing or whooshing sounds in the ear.
I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for examination of the inner ear.
Along with this you have mentioned that you feel some 'glands' on the side of neck.
These glands could be enlarged lymph nodes.
However, a clinical examination is required to confirm the nature of the glands.
I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical examination, investigations and thus management of your problem.
