General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the concern. According to history your son is a soccer player and got hurt in testicle during play. Any injury in the testicle will cause pain and swelling in that side. Please examine the left testicle and compare it with right side it might get red and bigger than right side. I think there might haematoma in the left scrotum thats why it paining. For that you should immediately consult your surgeon and get operated. For pain your son can take painkillers.
