General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If there is soreness, there may be tearing in the muscles. Due to your diabetes, the healing process is also slowed down, primarily, due to the fact that diabetes causes the blood to slowly flow.

I suggest you do some tests:
1. Chest X-Ray
2. Electromyography of Chest Muscles
3. Complete Blood test
4. Fasting Blood Sugar
5. ECG

I also suggest maintaining electrolytes balance. In order to do that, please take water with a pinch of salt and lemon in it.
I also advise you not to do exercises now.
If there is too much pain or headache, you can take Paracetamol
Hot dry compress can also be given.

Please post the results of the tests so that a doctor can give you the next course of treatment if required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
