What Causes Pain And Soreness In The Knees After Meniscus Surgery?

Morning! I had meniscus surgery on my left knee about 2 months ago. Doctor said he did a lot of scraping of arthritis as well. Til this day I m finding it very sore & painful to walk, I feel like my knee sticks & it s painful . Doctor mentioned the shots that they call chicken shots ( it s the oil like substance) but I m not sure I should go that route or just get a 2nd opinion. I m so frustrated & depressed, it s been going on for like 6 months total. I just wanna walk normal again Thanks in advance !
