What Causes Pain And Soreness In The Throat?

I m in wrestling and some of our holds out pressure right onto the the neck and the Adams apple. Recently I ve been wrestling with a new teammate and when we were drilling, everytime he did the move he would over apply pressure onto my throat and I didn t think much of it at the time. The next day, today, I noticed my Adams apple hurting. Is it okay? I ve also had a sore throat for about 3 days

Read your query as you have pain and soreness in throat this can be due to strep throat , viral infection , pharyngitis . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination and inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day . You can take medicine like Cefixime or Azithromycin with allegra by consulting with local doctor .
