What Causes Pain And Stiffness In Lower Back During Walk?

I m 21- and up until the other day I thought everyone had this problem: Whenever I stand or walk for more than ten minutes, my lower back gets really stiff and it hurts. I have to arch inward (curve my shoulders and back forward to stretch it out) quite frequently because it hurts. Apparently none of my friends get this (I thought everyone did, which is why I haven t worried until now). Should I go in to see a doctor?

HI
Welcome to HCM
I really appreciate your concern. I can not point out the cause of the back pain by fewer details. The back pain which you are describing may be related to your bad posture while sitting and sleeping. So do some stretching exercises before you walk and try that for 5 to 7 days if it is not decreasing see an orthopedician for the evaluation of the causes for your back pain. Hope this answer helps you. Have a nice day and take care.
