What Causes Pain And Stiffness In The Back While On Lisinopril And Diltiazem?

Hi I have been diagnosed with afib and slightly elevated calcium in the blood. I have generalized stiffness and achy feelings in my entire back, high blood pressure (I am on two BP meds and they want to put me on a diuretic) I often feel weak and have difficulty standing for long periods due to back pain.....any thoughts? Could my medication be causing these sympyoms? Lisinopril 40 mg, Diltiazem 120, Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have back pains that are effected by touch or movements than these pains are not related to the medications or the conditions you are mentioning. Very likely they are due to muscular pain and seeing a physiotherapist might be needed. If the back pains are not effected by touch or movement than you will need to see your cardiologist to make sure they are not related to possible heart problems.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
