Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain swelling and pain at the site of incision can be due to infection leading to pain and swelling..

Although you have taken antibiotics after the sinus was drained but it is very much possible that there was some minor infection left and as the bacterial count has got sufficiently low you had no symptoms..

But the oral cavity there is a daily deposition of plaque and if there is some deficiency in maintenance of hygiene and there can be sprouting of infection at the healing sites..

You should consult your dentist and get evaluated for any recrrence of infection in the gums as wel as get your sinus evaluated if there is any relapsed infection in the sinus..

Antibiotics and scaling of the gums can be relieving..

Hope this information helps..
