What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Knees Long After An Injury?
I fell several years back and injured both knees.I am considered obese so the fall was quite painful. I still suffer with pain, swelling and at times my knees feel bruised and are sensitive to touch. If I bump them against anything it is extremely painful.

Hello,
It could be a sprain or ligament injury.
As first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.
You might require an MRI scan for further assessment.
