What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Right Knee After An Injury?

II missed a step yesterday morning and fell striking my right knee. When I got home I iced it. There s no pain when I m still, only some pain when I walk and bend it but it s still quite swollen and warm to touch a day and a half later. Is there reason for concern?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are having history of knee injury

Hence for primary work up digital x ray of local part should be done

If any significant injury suspected in x ray than MRI can be planned

Take rest for few days

Ibuprofen can be prescribed for five days

Ice pack application can be beneficial

Avoid strenous work up

According to report further treatment plan modified if needed

Take care

Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination
