Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have 2 hernias, one abdomen and one in my groin. My Testacies are swollen and extremely painful. My doctor will not do anything because I have been diagnosis with Non-fatty liver disease and have had my abdomen drained multiple times. I m in extreme pain and today when I called my doctor, the receptionist told me to wait for my next appointment about 10 days from today.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you have two hernias, abdominal and inguinal and also having swollen testes, which may be Epididimo-orchitis or and hydrocele, proper management has to be done. The hernias has to be managed surgically and if an hydrocele is present that too is managed surgically. Infection of the testes is treated with antibiotics and scrotal support. Please do consult a general surgeon or a Urologist, for examination, investigation and management.
Thank You!
