What Causes Pain And Swelling On Eyelids?

Since last one month, I get frequent swelling on either the upper eyelid or lower and only in the left eye. Swelling is kind of boil but usually not like a pimple. It vanishes in 3 or 4 days with out any medications. During these days its got pain and swelling. What could be causing this? Generally I don't rub my eyes.

Swelling pain and boil like growth may be sty. It requires appellation and application of neo sporine eye oint ment. it can be cleaned by sterile swab and warm compression can be given. you can take combiflam tablet after food for two days.
