What Causes Pain And Swelling On Left Side Of Neck And Jawbone?

I have a painful swollen area under the left side of my neck under my jawbone. It just started last night. The left side under my tongue is bright red and very tender. I am unable to eat. Even swallowing is painful. But no sore throat or temp. I do have hypothyroidism and taking 88 mcg daily and still have my thyroid gland. Never had this issue before. Should I see a doctor? If not what could it be? Thank you. Sherrie Copeland

HI
well come to HCM
Certain conditions are there and these need to be ruled out and this could be dental condition, parotid gland swelling, lymph node swelling, in my opinion wait for some time till then you can try "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg twice in day" hope this information helps, take care.
