What Causes Pain And Swelling On The Left Side Of Lower Back?

My girlfriend has had pain and swelling on her left side towards the lower part of her back. She has been to a doctor numerous times and has been through blood tests, MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultra Sounds, and everyting like that and was told it looked normal. We have no idea whats going on with her and she complains about her side pretty much everyday.

This may not be the actual swelling but could be the false sensation of this, and in my opinion some time emotional stress aggravate the symptoms she should have keep her anxiety level very low to come out of this condition, hope this information helps.
