What Causes Pain And Tearing Of My Foreskin During Sex After Not Retracting It For Close To A Decade And A Half?
Hi doctor , i havent opened foreskin cover of my penis since 12-15 years . Now while having unprotected sex i feel a lot of pain and my foreskin does not go back and i had two injury and blood coming out while having sex. The doctor says it doesnt need surgery but again it the foreskin tore and i got blood
Your symptoms are indicative of phimosis. Do take care of your hygiene. Keep your private area clean. Since you have not retracted your foreskin in over 12–15 years, your foreskin has become tight and cannot be pulled back over the head (glans) of the penis. Over time, if not gently retracted and cleaned, the foreskin can lose elasticity, stick to the glans, or become prone to tearing during sexual activity.
Applying topical steroid creams will help the foreskin to loosen and become more retractable. Gentle massage may help, but do not apply force or overdo it. Warm water soaks during bathing can help soften the skin for stretching. However, get clinically examined by a urologist. You may need to get done minor surgery, a preputioplasty (not full circumcision) or recommended circumcision if required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
