What Causes Pain And Tenderness In Head?

I occassionly have episodes of very sharp pain in my head. It on the top of my head now and leaves the area feeling tender. the last time this happened it was behind my right ear. These pains usually last only a split second and are off and on for several days then I dont have any problems. this is the 3rd episode this year.

As per my clinical experience, the pain and tenderness in head indicates possible issue of migraine or cluster headache most likely. Associated features of nausea, vertigo, spinning, eye problems as watering and others are important considerations for the possible differential diagnosis work up.
