What Causes Pain And Tenderness In The Groin Area?
I am a 55 year old female who has been having increasing pain and tenderness inside the right groin area. It feels a bit swollen compared to the second and is very tender but only when I sit down on the toilet do I notice it. I have my physical tomorrow, although I m not even sure how to describe it. Almost feels as if it is in the bone.

What Causes Pain And Tenderness In The Groin Area?
Hello, Swelling, pain and tenderness if the right groin area could be due to an enlarged lymph node. Infection could lead to a painful lymph node. I suggest you consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment. Pain killer would help to decrease the pain. In case of infection, antibiotic will help to control the infection. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
