What Causes Pain And Tenderness On The Scalp?

This is very strange. I have tenderness and mild pain in primarily in the top portion of my scalp. Never had it before. It has persisted for about 5 days. Only other symptom is slight pain behind and above my right eye...which makes me think sinusitis...but no congestion, drainage etc.

Hello,

If there is no cold history or discharge at present, then sinus infection is to be confirmed by x-ray sinuses. If that is ok, get assessed for cluster headache as pain is behind eyeball.
