What Causes Pain And Tingling In The Lower Part Of The Right Leg?

I have severe ache in lower leg and foot rite side. seems like not enough blood flow, some tingling feels like it fell asleep. maybe, blood clot, poor circulation. no pain above knee. Could it be gout? I don t drink or eat meat. Is this nerve damage or lack of vitamins or potassium?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Tingling sensation could have been caused due to vitamin deficiency. It could be also caused due to mineral insufficiency. However, since it is associated with pain below the knees, it would be advisable for you to undergo a Doppler ultrasound scan of the blood vessels, so as to ensure blood supply to the area is normal. If the report is normal, supplementation of multivitamin-multimineral preparation should suffice.
Kindly consult Physician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
