What Causes Pain And Twitching In Arch Of Feet?

I have some bone type pain, some tingling, some burning , and most recently some twitching in the arch of my feet.. On a scale of one to ten the pain is around 6/7 not unbearable but really annoying and concerning since the symtoms seem to build over the last 2-3 months.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
-Pain, tingling, muscular twitching in your arch of feet, seems to be neurogenic n origin.
- Xray/ MRI of lumbosachral spine should locate the exact cause- probably disc problem, causing pressure on nerve supply to arch of feet.
- You need to consult an orthopedic doctor for management.
- Management consists of Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs/ Vitamin B12 , vitamin D & calcium supplement.along with physiotherapy for the specific area.
- surgical treatment only for severe cases.
Thanks.
