What Causes Pain And Weakness In The Arms?

All of the symptoms I have been having are directing and my pcp to think I might have inherited Muscular dystrophy which my grandmother on my father s side of the family has. I have pain and cramping/weakness in my shoulders and arms and hands. It is also in my hips and up thighs. My question would be how likely is it for me to inherit this from my grandmother?

There are varying possibilities of such inheritance from the parents depending upon the type of anomaly as dominant or recessive and its allele frequency with expression in certain progeny.

Here it is strongly recommended that you consult expert and get chromosome analysis done with karyotyping.
