What Causes Pain Around A Divot On The Skull?

I have a divot on top of my head about 1 inch back form my hair line. I have had it for about 2 weeks, it is just now starting to hurt. I have had several headaches in that generalized area that seem to radiate downward from the divot. Additionally, I have had vision issues in which rooms do not seem as bright as they could be and it seems cloudy at the edge of my vision. Night driving has become more difficult.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I do understand your pain and discomfort.
As per your history is concerned please follow:-
1)Do a complete neurological clinical examination by your local neurologist
2)Do a [MRI] scan as your history indicates a divot in the brain

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
