General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain is common at the site of incision and may last few days even after the surgery. It's not a big concern.

However, we need to avoid infection of the site. If the area is swollen, or very red or pus coming from it then it may need care and assessment by your PCP otherwise you don't need to worry; you may watch it carefully.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
