What Causes Pain Around Belly Button With Blood Discharge?

My son is 14 yr old. He has dull pain off and on around his belly button. For last few days he has some oozing of blood through his navel which follows his pain. What might be the cause and what is treatment for this. My e mail address: YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some local infection in navel site producing this problem.
Due to collection of dust and mix with perspiration does give rise to infection.
Clean the umbilicus with warm water and apply antibiotic cream locally.
If require give him one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days to cure infection.
Ok and take care.
