What Causes Pain Around Heart Area After Lifting Heavy Box?

I lifted a heavy box about a month ago and had pain around my heart, went to the doctor and they diagnosed it as just a bruised muscle. I am now having pain around my heart area every day even when I am not excerting. Do you know what this could be and is it serious?

if any doubt,you can get your ECG and stress echo done.
have you tried any muscle relaxants...
Try to avoid the posture which gives you pain.
