What Causes Pain Around Heart While Suffering From Diabetes Type 2?
At 5 am I drank a large glass of cold water. When I get back in bed, I had pain around my heart. It has persisted during the day. If I bend over I feel the pain,. It is not severe. I'm 68 and type 2 diabetic. I take a 1000 mg of gucophage 2 times daily, and 5 mg of prandin.

Drank cold water and then have chest pain this could be coincidence and this may not be heat disease, but chances of hyperacidity could be there and this can be best managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" once in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
