What Causes Pain Around Incision Site Of An Umbilical Hernia Surgery?

after surgery seven years ago I had an umbilical hernia when I was thirty two also and adhesion from that and also a hysterectomy....there is something now that is causing me severe pain that some and goes in that area. last week I had leg pain and could this be a sign of appendicitis?

Hello,

It could be scar tissue pain. However should get it checked again by a general surgeon. Meanwhile, should check for appendicitis yes could be but get a physical examination and complete blood count. Abdominal ct-scan could be run further.
