What Causes Pain Around Pubic Bone And Burning Feeling During Urination?
My daughter has had pain just above her pubic bone with pain and burning on urination for three days. She was started on Bactrim ds within hours of this pain when flushing with large amts. of water did not help. She also had sudden onset of severe right flank pain, duration 30 min. 24 hrs. Prior to onset of uti symptoms. Could this be a small stone in her urethra? When ask about urinary output she says that she feels like urinating sometimes but the amount is smaller than normal. If not stone what else could it be? She has low grade temp.---99.0

From history it seems that she might be having acute urinary tract infection gives this problem.
continue with antibiotic, she is taking.
Go for routine urine test for passing blood and ultra sound of kidneys to rule out kidney stone.
Meanwhile give her some antispasmodic medicine like Meftal spas or Cyclopam for pain or burning.
Give plentyof water.
Ok and take care.
