What Causes Pain Around The Ears With Headache?

Yes, I have pain around my right ear & it is very sensitive to the touch. I have been to the doctor once to have it checked, along with a headache, however they tought it might be allergies. The pain is not intense but does not go away and the headache does come and go. I do not believe there is an internal ear infection as I am not sick otherwise. The pain gets worse after exercising. Any thoughts?! I feel like if i go back to my doctor they will just tell me the same thing. However, the pain is there and very real! Thank you for your help.

Hello , Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, you have pain around right ear , and tenderness in muscles around your right ear, you should go dentist it can be due to Temporomandibular disorder also ,
So you should go for dentist for check up , you can take some precautions like
Avoid Excessive mouth opening ,
Take soft diet
You can apply Ointment Diclofenac sodium twice daily on painful area
Take One Tablet Myospaz forte once daily for 5 days
If then you wont get relief then go to dentist and ENT surgeon and proper investigations done.
