What Causes Pain Around The Ears?
I have very sharp pains around both ears, not so much inside of them but behind them and the outer portion. I went to the Dr on tues and she gave me coricidon but that hasn't helped. Also no appetite. Have lost 10 pounds since Sunday . Any suggestions

The most common cause of ear pain is an ear infection.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-take antibiotics such as augmentin 625 mg for 7 days 2 tablets a day
-take eardrops for a local effect.
-warm compresses
-use a pain killer such as ibuprofen
