What Causes Pain Around The Hips And Rib Cage?

I am having pain, when I rub my skin it feels sore, possibly muscles underneath skin. Started around my hip area, now up rib cage, and down my thighs, started over a year ago. A Doctor suggested bursitis but it isn t localized near joints and seems to be spreading.

It could be a musculoskeletal pain only.
As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
