General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

4mm stone is small and will pass through the urine. Surgical intervention is not required.

As of now continue tamsulosin and drink plenty of water. A followup scan is required to check whether the stone passed or not. If pain is severe you can take drugs like tramadol also for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
