What Causes Pain Around The Kidneys After A Dog Bite?
My 51 year old brother was attacked by a pitbull and bitten in the testicles.He drove to the ER(He is in NC, and I am in NH). He has 20 people ahead of him in the ER and is experiencing pain in the area of his kidneys. I suggested he go tell the ER nurse right now...depending on which structures were damaged(he has 3 puncture wounds) could this cause issues with the ureters/kidneys? Thank-you-

I strongly recommend you to say him to explain all the symptoms he is experiencing in order that the doctors examine him correctly. Regarding his concern he needs an abdominal ultrasound to exclude other renal problems.
